Melbourne named world's "most livable city"
MELBOURNE has again been named the world's "most livable city", in a key global index released yesterday.
The Economist's Liveability Ranking named mostly Australian and Canadian cities in the top five.
Listed after Melbourne was Vienna, Austria; Canada's Vancouver and Toronto; with Adelaide and the Canadian city of Calgary on equal fifth.
Sydney and Perth were ranked seventh and eighth respectively and Brisbane 18th.
