Alleged cop basher faces Ipswich court

A WOMAN who allegedly bashed a police officer has had her matter mentioned briefly in court.
Hope Maree Townsend, 19, was charged on November 23, 2015 with two counts of serious assault of a police officer causing bodily harm.
It is alleged the incident took place in Dudleigh St at North Booval.
Miss Townsend has not yet entered a plea to the charges.
Her matter was adjourned until February 18.
