Anastasia named Charleville's Junior Miss Show Girl

ANASTASIA O'Neil has been named the Junior Miss Show Girl for 2015.

The grade nine student at Charleville State High School entered the competition to become further engaged with the community and overcome her fear of public speaking.

During the fundraising period, Anastasia raised about $800 which will go back to the Charleville Show Society.

Anastasia fought back the tears when the judges called her name and said although she was laughing, there was still tears.

With kicking off on Thursday with judging and dressage events, Anastasia along with all of the junior and miss show girl entrants will be lending a hand for the annual event.

Libby Usher was named Miss Charity with Morgan Glasby taking the title of Runner Up Junior Miss Show Girl and Caitlin Walker winning the encouragement award.
