Charleville's Anastasia is our showgirl
WHEN Anastasia O'Neil started her Charleville Show Girl journey she wanted to become more confident in herself.
Her hard work and dedication throughout the journey led her to being named the Junior Miss Show Girl for 2015.
"It was a big surprise, I was really shocked at first," Anastasia said.
Anastasia, along with Libby Usher, Morgan Glasby and Caitlin Walker participated in public speaking classes with Jeff Parry in the lead up to their final speeches in front of friends, family and judges on Saturday night.
"I do feel more confident thanks to Jeff," Anastasia said.
"I got up on stage and I looked at Jeff and thought I can do this."
Anastasia said she enjoyed the workshops because she got to know the other entrants better as well as having the chance to work with them.
"We could learn together and help each other," she said.
Up next is the Charleville Show, where the entrants will be busy helping the committee over the weekend.
"Next I know I'll be more confident and wont doubt myself," Anastasia said.
The entrants raised a total of $8872.89 which will go back to the Charleville Show Society.
Morgan was named runner-up, with Libby Usher taking Miss Community and Miss Charity and Caitlin Walker receiving the encouragement award.
