Body in national park thought to be Belinda Lee

POLICE believe they have discovered the body of Belinda Lee, 57, in Lamington National Park.

Bushwalkers found the remains in bushland off the Morans Fall Track just before 3pm on Sunday.

While more investigating needs to be done, early work suggests her death was not suspicious.

A report is now being put together for the Coroner.

Mrs Lee had been reported missing after leaving a Nerang business shortly after midnight on September 14.

Police put out a major call for public assistance on September 16 after she left her Earle Plaza business on the Tuesday morning.
