Chopper called in after horror motorbike crash

A MAN has been airlifted to Brisbane after suffering serious injuries in a motorbike accident.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said paramedics found the man, believed to be in his 70s, unconscious on the side of Ipswich Boonah Rd at Coulson, about 5km north of Boonah at 11am.
It appears the man, who was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane for the treatment of serious injuries just after 12pm, had been riding into Boonah.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
