Probe launched into plane crash that killed two men
THE two men involved in a fatal plane crash this morning were aged 61 and 71, Queensland Police confirmed.
A Queensland Police spokeswoman confirmed the ages of the two men who died at the scene of the crash this morning near Round Hill Rd.
She said the initial information suggested the ultralight plane was travelling to the Agnes Water region.
Police are gathering statements from witnesses.
FORENSIC crash investigators have arrived at the scene of the fatal light plane crash at Captain Creek.
The plane crashed at the end of a runway at Round Hill Rd about 7am this morning, killing the two men on board.
Multiple police crews remain at the scene with officers from the forensic crash unit.
The forensic crash unit will investigate the cause of the crash and prepare a report for the Coroner.
