BUSTED: Charleville drug drivers to front court

DRUG driver to front court

A 38-YEAR-old man was issued a 24-hour licence suspension notice and will front the Charleville Magistrates Court after he was allegedly caught drug driving.

About 3.30pm on Tuesday, December 8, Charleville police intercepted a vehicle on Burke St for the purpose of a roadside drug test which the driver provided a positive result.

The driver was detained for further saliva analysis which provided another positive result.

He will front court at a later date.

DRUG driver

A 48-YEAR-old female was issued an immediate driver's licence suspension and notice to appear in the Charleville Magistrates Court after she was allegedly busted drug driving.

At 5pm on Tuesday, December 8, Charleville police intercepted the vehicle on Partridge St for the purpose of a roadside drug test which provided a positive result.

The driver was detained for further saliva analysis to which it provided another positive result.

She will front court at a later date.

FIGHT at local roadhouse

POLICE were called to the Gull Roadhouse petrol station in relation to an altercation between two male customers.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, December 9 and as a result of the altercation a 50-year-old male was issued with an infringement notice for public nuisance.
