Busted! Toowoomba Range driver's run-in with law

DASH CAM has captured the moment a motorist was caught speeding down the Toowoomba Range.

The footage titled The Hilux Versus The Toowoomba Range was uploaded to YouTube earlier this week.

The driver in the dash cam-fitted vehicle explains the encounter using subtitles on the video.

It starts as: "Sunday afternoon driving down the Toowoomba Range. Not a cloud in the sky.

"The Hilux is in top gear and she owns the road.

"Deep down you know that something this good can't last."

It is at that moment a police officer on a motorbike pulled over to the side of the road appears in the footage.

WARNING: VIDEO CONTAINS GRAPHIC LANGUAGE

The dash-cam fitted vehicle slows down suddenly but it is too late, with the police officer signalling for the driver to pull over.

"Ooh sh*t, how fast was I going?" the subtitles read as the vehicle pulls off the side of the road.

"Maybe it wasn't me he was telling to pull over?"

There is a moment of relief when the police officer drives past the pulled over car but that is short lived.

"Nope, it's me," the subtitles read.

The video ends with a warning to other motorists: "Slow down people, you could be next!"
