Can Queenslanders find Sheamus the lost teddy bear?

IT HAS been eight weeks since Eryn Cowcher's daughter has been able to cuddle her beloved teddy bear, so she has taken the search online.

Sheamus was lost somewhere between Bowen and the Sunshine Coast -- a distance of more than 1000km.

The bear began his own adventure sometime between September 29 and October 10, as the family headed south.

What's more, the Cowcher family are now back in their state of Western Australia. This is truly a cross-country search.

She writes on Facebook:

"My daughters world has been turned upside down since visiting QLD for a holiday.

"We all loved QLD so much that her favourite bear Sheamus decided to stay.

"We think we lost him somewhere between Bowen and the Sunshine Coast.

"She still cries or gets anxious for him most nights."
