Car found 'on its roof' near sports club

EMERGENCY services were called to a scene near a Glenella sports club where a car was "on its roof", a Queensland Ambulance Services spokesman said.

The spokesman said the call was received at 10.22pm last night. A person with a laceration on their leg was transported to Mackay Base Hospital.

A Queensland Police Services spokeswoman said police attended the single-car rollover on the intersection of Glenella Connection Rd and Hill End Rd.

A man in his 20s was the sole occupant of the car.

Police investigations are continuing.
