Highway strewn with dead and injured cattle

A ROAD TRAIN transporting cattle has overturned earlier today in Muckadilla.

Emergency services were called to the Warrego Hwy in Muckadilla at 12.20pm after one of the trailers being towed by the prime mover has rolled over.

As a result a number of cattle have died or have been injured in the accident.

The Queensland Fire department are assisting to free the cattle from the trailer.

No injuries for the driver has been recorded.
