China agribusiness veteran to speak at conference

A VETERAN of the China agribusiness scene will speak about his experiences at the upcoming Ag in the Asian Century conference in Toowoomba.

National Australia Bank regional head of food and agribusiness Patrick Vizzone will speak on the first morning of the conference, which will be held from September 22 - 24.

Mr Vizzone's career stretches back to an early business venture in China's horticultural sector.

He is on the board of the China National Cereals, Oils and Foodstuffs Corporations, one of the world's largest grain trading and processing companies.

That role and his coal-face experiences make him one of the pre-eminent experts on agribusiness in the context of Asia.To view the official program and register for the conference, visit www.agintheasiancentury.com.au  - Early Bird discounts are currently available.
