CityCat crashes into rowers on Brisbane River
A CRASH between a CityCat and two rowers on the Brisbane River is being investigated by authorities.
The crash happened near the Guyatt Park ferry terminal on Monday morning, and it is believed the rowers' double scull went underneath the hull of the CityCat.
The rowers escaped injury, however their boat was badly damaged.
The incident is being investigated by CityCat operators Transdev, Maritime Safety Queensland and the Queensland Water Police.
"About 6.15am a Citycat ferry collided with a two-person rowing scull near West End," a Maritime Safety Queensland spokeswoman said in a statement.
