Comedians are on a jaunt to the bush

CHARLEVILLE RSL is the place to be on May 23, when a trio of performers make their way into town.

Funny As Folk will bring Mandy Nolan and Paul McMahon to the stage, with Irish troubadour Aine Tyrrell, for a night of music, mirth and merriment.

The comedians and musician were heading out to Thargomindah for performances and had an extra night in Charleville, so they thought 'why waste a night in the hotel when we can put on a show!'.

Ms Nolan is one half of national touring comedy show Women Like Us, which recently grabbed two five-star reviews for its season at this year's Adelaide Fringe Festival, while Paul McMahon has been a Melbourne Comedy Festival RAW state finalist two years in a row and has since gone on to establish himself as a rising star of the comedy scene.
