Sunflair to be showcased at Fashion festival

A SWIMWEAR label seen on beaches in Monaco, Italy and the south of France will be showcased at this year's Sunshine Coast Fashion Festival.

Officials from German label Sunflair - renowned as the most widely-sold swimwear label in the world - have confirmed their new summer range will make its international debut at the festival.

It is the fourth year in a row Sunflair has collaborated with festival organisers. The October festival is the only Australian event where the label is showcased and organisers are thrilled by the news.

"It really is fantastic and shows how highly-regarded the festival is," festival spokesperson Shannon Guthrie said.

"We are so excited that Sunflair keeps choosing to be associated exclusively with the Sunshine Coast festival when it could choose to go to Sydney or anywhere in Europe.

"It really is fantastic to be able to retain a label of this quality year after year."

The Sunflair range is renowned for its bright colours and creative designs and is aimed mainly at mature women.

It has been described as "distinct", "eccentric" and "unusual". With an emphasis on fit, quality and comfort, the ranges include retro influences, fringes, daring prints and asymmetrical styles.

"The Sunflair range is very suited to the Sunshine Coast because it is bright and colourful - not the greys and blacks and monochromes which we see on offer to mature women from some other labels," Ms Guthrie said.

"The range is colourful and fun."

Visitors to the Sunshine Coast Fashion Festival will be the first in the world to see the Sunflair 2016/2017 range on October 22.
