CRIME WRAP: Man busted for driving drunk on Warrego

With Queensland’s emergency services experiencing a hectic New Year’s Eve, police have been more than eager to make sure everybody is safe and following the law during this time.

Here are some of the last drivers that Roma police pulled up in 2020:

Drink driver nabbed

Roma police have caught a man driving over the alcohol limit on New Years eve.

Senior constable Lea Warren said the 35-year-old man was driving on the Warrego Highway when he was pulled over and allegedly blew 0.135 at 8.44am, December 31.

He will appear in court at a later date.

What’s that car?

A young man has been busted after allegedly driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle through Roma.

The 19-year-old was pulled up on McPhie Street at 1.35am on December 31.

Senior constable Warren said he was given two tickets, one for driving an unregistered vehicle, the other for driving uninsured.
