BRUCE HWY: Traffic moving after Burpengary block clears

TRAFFIC is again flowing on the Bruce Hwy at Burpengary after a crashed caused major delays. 

The Department of Transport and Main Roads has removed delay warnings for the south-bound stretch of road. 

 

INITIAL REPORT

DRIVERS are being warned to expect long delays if they are travelling south of the Sunshine Coast this afternoon.

A crash at Burpengary has left traffic on the Bruce Hwy heavily congested.

Southbound lanes have been closed.


Two vehicles crashed in the south-bound stretch of the road about 11.30am. 

Paramedics assessed three patients at the scene and one was taken to hospital for treatment.
