Facelifted Holden Barina arrives from $14,990
HOLDEN'S churning out the new and improved product this year, and its latest update is for the little Barina.
The 2017 models score a facelift with LED daytime running lights, new grille and new front and rear fascias; there's desirable Apple CarPlay and Android Auto phone projection, while rear camera and rear park assist come as standard across the range.

With an RRP from $14,990 the 5 star ANCAP safety rating Barina sits just above Holden's impressive Spark city car (from $13,990).
For 2017 there are just two Barina variants - LS hatch and LT hatch - both with five doors and with the same 1.6-litre petrol engine as before.

Entry LS cars score 16-inch alloys, 7-inch touchscreen and auto headlamps to add to the aforementioned spec. LS cars bring 17-inch alloys, passive entry, push button start, leather steering wheel, Sportec seat trim and heated front seats.
Before on-roads, the LS manual is $14,990, LS auto is $17,190 and LT auto is $20,390.
The facelifted model also means Holden dealers are doing plate clearance deals on 2016 cars until the end of the year, with outgoing Barina manuals for $15,990 drive away and autos for $16,990 drive away, each with $1000 cash back.
