Missing CQ woman found on Coast

UPDATE: A 55-year-old central Queensland woman reported missing from the Sunshine Coast safe and well.

EARLIER: A central Queensland woman reported missing was last seen on the Sunshine Coast.

She was last seen about 7pm on Wednesday, in Millwell Rd, Maroochydore.

Police and family hold concerns for her welfare, as she has a medical condition and failed to make contact with her family, which is out of character.

The woman, from the Gemfields area in Central Queensland, was wearing a multi-coloured slip dress when she was last sighted.

She is described as Caucasian, approximately 150cms tall with a solid build and long grey / black hair.

She was driving a white 2001 Holden Commodore station wagon with Queensland registration 573HON. The vehicle has large CB radio aerials and a bull bar on the front.

Anyone who may have seen the woman or her car, or has any information about where she might be, is urged to phone Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
