Federer sets another record with Halle Open win

SWISS maestro Roger Federer has written his name in the record books yet again.

Federer, playing in his 140th career final, outclassed Alexander Zverev 6-1 6-3 in 53 minutes to claim a record ninth Halle Open title.

At 35-years-old Federer became the oldest winner of the grass court tournament and in doing so secured his 92nd career title.

Federer, who skipped the claycourt to focus on his Wimbledon campaign, said he felt good in the victory.

"I played unbelievably well. I felt good and never let up," he said.

"It was my best game this week. Nearly everything worked out for me."
