Festival discounts to benefit Cunnamulla locals

LOCALS will benefit from special pricing offers at the iconic Cunnamulla Fella Festival to ensure everyone can enjoy this year's event.

Mayor Lindsay Godfrey said in light of the ongoing drought, a Mayor's Discretionary Discount has been announced, which is available on proof of local residency.

"While Cunnamulla is famous around the country for its warm welcome, for its characters and for our annual Festival, we need to ensure our locals are supported, and this is why we have announced this special discount,” he said.

Locals need to ask for Barb Mason at the visitor information centre, or email visitor@paroo.qld.gov.au or phone (07)46558470 to access the offer.

"This is also our time to show off our great town to the rest of Australia,” Cunnamulla Fella Festival organiser Barb Mason said.

"The Cunnamulla Fella Festival takes place on the final weekend in August, and sees visitors from all over Australia head to our town to celebrate.”

Program details can be found at cunnamullafella festival.com.au.
