Former Palmer advisor asks for delay to kidnapping case

CLIVE Palmer's former media advisor Andrew Crook asked a Brisbane court to delay his alleged kidnap case for three months.

Mr Crook and his co-accused Anthony Smith and Mick Featherstone requested their next appearance to be on June 27.

The men, who did not appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court, are wait the outcome of another legal matter before they can proceed.

Mr Crook, Mr Smith and Mr Featherstone are charged with intimidating a witness, attempted fraud and attempting to pervert the course of justice.

The charges relate to alleged incident involving a bank employee in late 2014. - APN NEWSDESK
