Funeral plans announced for Jimmy Bryant

THE funeral for Jimmy Bryant who died in a crash at Thangool on Friday will be held this week.

Around 4pm on Friday, emergency services were called to a single vehicle sedan crash on Elchmanns Road.

A sedan carrying five people, driven by 17-year-old Bryant, appeared to have rolled around 10kms south of Biloela.

Three male passengers, aged in their late teens, were treated for their injuries at the scene by the Queensland Ambulance Service. Another passenger, also a male, was airlifted for treatment of serious injuries.

Jimmy was pronounced dead at the scene.

Jimmy's touch football team, the Bladerunners, dedicated their match to his memory and for a side that doesn't win many games they almost pulled off an upset for their late teammate.

Before the game, the Callide Valley Touch Football Association held a minute of silence and wore black armbands in memory of the teen who tragically died on Friday afternoon when his car overturned on Eichmanns Rd near Thangool.

The loss of Jimmy has touched many in the community which is evident on a tribute Facebook page, In Loving Memory of Jimmy Bryant.

The teen was involved in a number of sporting teams including touch footy and cricket.
