Beautiful weather made for the perfect conditions at Augathella Pony Club for its Shield weekend.

Riders from the Warrego, Augathella and Maranoa clubs turned out for the two-day event to compete for the coveted shields.

Saturday's competition had competitors from the clubs vie for the Zone 13 John and Grace Jones Shield.

Warrego won with 192 points and second was Augathella with 115 points. The March Past was won by Augathella.

There were also places given to the individual age groups.

Warrego's Tahnne Reynolds won the 7 and under group.

Augathella's Becky Meek was the 10 and under winner.

The winner of the 12 and under age group was Warrego's Maggie Caskey.

Maranoa rider Emily Cameron won the 16 and under.

Senior winner was Warrego's Jan Bleys.

Tahnee Reynolds took out first place in the 7 and under dressage and Gabby Egan in the 10 and under.

Parker Pegg won the 12 and under, Emily Cameron won the 16 and under and Jan Bleys once again won the senior group.

The highest overall points scorer was Tahnee Reynolds and the highest scoring local rider was Becky Meek.

Sunny skies continued for the second day of the event, with riders competing on Sunday in the Lyn Carmichael Memorial Shield competition.

Warrgeo won on 163 points from Augathella on 84.5 points, Maranoa on 69.5 points and Tambo on 52.5 points.

Warrego won the Ellangowan Trophy for the team with the highest average.

Individual age group placings went to Tahnee Reynolds in the 7 and under; Riley O'Dell from Tambo in the 10 and under; Parker Pegg in the 12 and under; Emily Cameron in the 16 and under; and Jan Bleys in the senior.

Champion Rider was Riley O'Dell and Reserve Champion was Parker Pegg.

The highest overall points scorer was Tahnee Reynolds and highest scoring local rider was Parker Pegg.

The winner of the Laurie Pampling Memorial Trophy for the Best Jumping Combination was Tahnee Reynolds and Tahnee also won the trophy for the Best Sporting Combination.
