REVELLERS landed at the Charleville base RFDS hangar on Saturday night for the third annual Western Winter ball.

There were more than 280 people who attended the event to dance the night away all while raising money for a good cause.

Everyone enjoyed a three course meal, bar and live entertainment - and bidders competed for all the items up for auction on the night.

After the auction, the lights were dimmed and crowds took to the dance floor.

More than $17,000 had been raised so far, and those funds would go towards buying a training simulation dummy.
