Man dead after Brisbane shooting

A MAN has died after a shooting in Brisbane this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the shooting in Tingapla about 4pm.

Police issued a statement saying when officers arrived on the scene they found a man with a serious wound who was then transported to Princess Alexandria Hospital, where he died. 

"A crime scene has been declared as police continue to investigate the incident" a police spokesman said.

"There is no further information available at this time."
