Happy New Year from The Chronicle
Dear valued subscriber,
Well here we are. The end of another year and what a year it has been.
From fires to drought, massive developments and more - it was an eventful 2019 across the Garden City and the wider Toowoomba region.
Our photographers have been out capturing photos for these stories and many, many more throughout the year.
Here are some other end of year lists that we compiled that you might want to read:

Today also marks the final days of the 2010 decade. Tomorrow we head into the roaring '20s.
We sifted through our archives and found what we believe are the 88 top front pages from the decade. Check them out here.
Finally, if you still have some time off over this summer period, there is nothing better than sitting back and reading a book.
Here are some of the books that Toowoomba's movers and shakers enjoyed reading this year and these were the Toowoomba Library's most borrowed books this year.
From everyone here at The Chronicle, Happy New Year. We hope you have a prosperous new year and have a great night tonight celebrating what has been and what will be.
