LONG HAUL: Aboard Jim Harrington's semi-trailer for its 130km trip from Oakwood to Historic House Museum in 1974, the Marshall steam engine was chained down for the journey after years gathering dust at the property's shearing shed.
Donated by Howdy Bryant, its delivery was eagerly awaited by Ben Schulz, John Harris and a few others on that Saturday in the mid 70s.
Next week will show it in suit at the museum where it sat for some time before restoration.
