Holy moilee: Asian spice queens smash MKR record

WORKMATES Eva and Debra have been waiting months to talk about their My Kitchen Rules comeback.

The Perth women received the highest ever score in the history of the reality cooking show, now in its sixth season, last night.

Not even their families knew how well they did until the show aired.

"We've been waiting for this moment," Debra told APN.

"We knew how well we did but we couldn't say anything.

"We told our families we did well, but they didn't know how well."

As the fifth team out of six to cook in the current instant restaurant redemption round, Eva and Debra aimed to better their original score of 46.

They more than doubled that with their family recipe-inspired Asian menu, scoring 98 points including four perfect 10s from judges Pete Evans and Manu Feildel and another perfect score from Toowoomba's Sheri and Emilie.

But the women say they won't let their record-breaking win go to their heads in the next round of the show, when the remaining 14 teams will be reunited.

"It's really boosted our confidence. After the first cook we had no confidence in ourselves," Debra said.

"But we don't think we're the best. We've taken each challenge day by day. You're on a clean slate every time."

Katie and Nikki are the final team to cook tonight. After their instant restaurant one team will be eliminated.
