Home destroyed in overnight blaze west of Roma
A fire investigator will attend an Amby home after an inferno tore through it overnight.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said three crews arrived to Queen St, Amby about 12.45am this morning.
“The home was fully engulfed when crews arrived,” the spokeswoman said.
“It seems crews were still dampening hot spots at 2.40am.
“The fire would have been extinguished shortly after that.”
Queensland Ambulance Service said no patients required treatment or transport to hospital.
QAS arrived on scene at 12.21am.
A fire investigator will determine the cause of the fire later today, the QFES spokeswoman said.
