Fighting pythons battle in Caboolture and on Sunshine Coast

TWO enormous pythons have been found doing battle in the roof of a south-east Queensland home, just days after duelling snakes were yanked from a house in Cairns.

Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers, describing the creatures on its Facebook page, estimated them to be "around 9ft and 10ft long".

The snake catcher had to crawl on his stomach through the confined roof space of the Caboolture house to catch the two males at war.

"The biggest one sustained a laceration to its tail during the fight and so has been taken to Aussie Zoo.

"We will get an exact measurement when he's ready to be released. Ross thinks he might even be close to 11ft which I think would be a record for around here."

CRIKEY!! Another two huge carpet pythons fighting in a roof today. AGAIN!!We estimate they were around 9ft and 10ft...

A few days earlier, snake catcher Richie Gilbert pulled another enormous snake from a home in Buderim.

Again, the call was made when "some very loud thumping and slithering noises" were heard coming from the ceiling.

Apparently it's breeding season.

Makes you wish they could just slither onto Tinder like the rest of us to find love.
