Jamie Gao murder: Jury discharged in trial of ex-cops
A JURY in the trial of former police officers Roger Rogerson and Glen McNamara over the murder of student Jamie Gao has been discharged.
Infamous 73-year-old Rogerson and his former colleague McNamara are accused of killing Mr Gao after a $3 million drug deal turned sour in Sydney last year.
Police allege the men were captured on video walking into a storage shed with the 20-year-old and minutes later, emerging without him but carrying a bag.
Mr Gao's body was found wrapped in a blue tarpolin, which had been weighted down with rope and chains, off Cronulla's Shelley Beach in May last year.
The trial began on Monday.
