Is Julian Wilson considering a switch to gymnastics?
HE'S recently re-discovered the form that had many experts predicting he'd be Australia's next surfing world champion.
But what Coolum 27-year-old Julian Wilson tweeted to his 117,000 followers earlier this morning might have other competitors on the World Surf League's Championship Tour cheering.
Well, not too loudly...
Don't think I'll be getting a spot in the Olympics for my efforts, but pretty stoked to finally get more then 1 haha pic.twitter.com/TDfpiQoBaG

"Don't think I'll be getting a spot in the Olympics for my efforts, but pretty stoked to finally get more than 1 (pull-up) haha," Wilson said.
With two weeks until Oi Rio Pro in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, Wilson is working hard to try and score his first win on the CT this season.

It was there he found the form that propelled him back into world championship contention.
Fellow Aussie Matt Wilkinson will be looking for his third win on the tour, while hometown hero and defending champion Filipe Toledo will be looking to make it back-to-back in Rio.
