Kid allegedly chases person down Roma street with knife

A juvenile has been charged after allegedly chasing another person down one of the streets of Roma with a knife.

Roma police Constable Rory Akermanis said the 12-year-old was seen by a witness holding a large kitchen knife on March 17.

He has been charged with possession of a dangerous article and public nuisance and is set to appear in Roma Children’s Court on March 30.
