Local larrikins raise over $10k shaving their mullets
It was all ‘business at the front, party at the back’ after a group of young locals raised twice as much than they anticipated for the Leukaemia Foundation after they shaved off their luscious locks.

Local larrikins Tom See, Connor Humphreys, Brett Kennedy, Jack Jones and Ben Betts had been working hard to grow their “filthy” mullets for several months.

Until last night when the boys and several locals gathered at the RSL to watch the boys shave off their pride and joy.

The boys had set their sights on raising $5000 for the Leukaemia Foundation, however raised well over that amount before the event even kicked off.

Their fundraiser is currently at just over $7,100 but the boys were up to scramble up a few extra thousand dollars auctioning off crowd members locks.

After 20-year-old Connor Humphreys lost all his hair to the shaver, including his eyebrows, he proceeded to “encourage” others to do the same.
Locals Ted Humphreys, Ben York, Lucas Crawford and others joined in on the fun and shaved off their luscious locks, some also opted to shave off their eyebrows...
Well done boys.
