Man armed with knife targets pharmacy
POLICE are hunting a man behind an armed robbery of a chemist store in Toowoomba this morning.
Initial investigations suggest the man armed with a knife entered the Discount Drug Store on Mylne St about 8.15am.
Once inside, the man who was wearing a dark jumper, dark long pants and gloves, threatened staff who handed over cash and a quantity of drugs before fleeing.
He was last seen running from the store down to Russell St where police believe he changed his clothes to a blue singlet, long pants, socks and no shoes.

No-one was physically injured in the robbery.
Police roped off the scene for at least an hour after the incident and customers were blocked from entering the store.
Passers-by were urged to move on from the area as Scenes of Crime officers examined the pharmacy.
The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, aged in his 20s, with a slim build.
Investigations are continuing, and police have appealed for anyone with information, or who may have seen the man running from Mylne St towards Russell St, to come forward.
