Man arrested after allegedly breaking into meatworks

A Charleville business has been broken into with offenders allegedly stealing money and damaging doors.

They are believed to have broken into a secure office of Charleville Western Meat Exporters and damaged the door between 10pm on February 9, and the next day.

The accused entered another office, damaged another door and searched the room.

Charleville Police allege they ran off with money.

Police investigations have uncovered a 29-year-old man as a suspect, who has been charged with entering premises with intent to commit indictable offence, stealing, wilful damage, breach of bail, and trespass.

He was granted bail by the Charleville Magistrates Court and will reappear at a later date.
