Man dragged by his own car in Fraser Coast crash

A MAN has been dragged by his own car during a traffic incident at Bunnings Warehouse in Pialba.

Emergency services were called to the crash about 10.30am on Thursday.

Police report the male driver was reversing his car, and had opened his driver-side door to see behind him.

While reversing, the man has fallen out of his car and has been dragged backwards by the momentum of the moving vehicle.

Police said the driver narrowly escaped falling under his own car.

The car reportedly damaged another car that was behind it, and also hit some shelving.

The driver was treated by paramedics.

Police are investigating.
