Man hosptalised after car rolls at Eagle Heights

A MAN in his 50s has been taken to hospital following a serious traffic crash in Eagle Heights early this morning.

Around 1.20am, a car travelling along MacDonnell Road towards Oxenford left the road, collided with a power pole and rolled.

The male driver was trapped in his car but was later freed by emergency services.

He was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with suspected spinal injuries.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
