POLICE were called to investigate the apparent stabbing of a man in Riverview early yesterday morning.

A man was treated for what paramedics described as a superficial shoulder wound following an incident about 6.30am.

Police said the man was treated at Price St, although the injury may have occurred on another street.

The man, thought to have been aged in his 30s, was taken to the PA Hospital in a stable condition.

He later refused to speak with detectives.
