Man injured after fight becomes stabbing
A 43-year-old Ashgrove man has been left injured after another man allegedly stabbed him during a fight in Morningside.
It will be alleged around 10pm, two men were involved in a verbal altercation at a Lawson Street residence.
It will further be alleged an argument escalated into a physical fight which resulted in one of the men receiving injuries consistent with wounds from a knife.
The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
A 40-year-old Morningside man has been charged with unlawful wounding and is scheduled to appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
The two men are known to each other.
