McAleese receivers ready to take next step

RECEIVERS appointed to replace the board of McAleese Group when it went into voluntary receivership now want to meet with creditors.

Today the receivers announced a creditors' meeting will be held in Melbourne on Thursday.

McGrathNicol's Joseph Hayes, Jason Preston, Jamie Harris and Keith Crawford were appointed voluntary administrators of McAleese Ltd and each of its wholly owned subsidiaries with the exception of Sunshine Refuellers.

According to the statement release to the Australia Security Exchange, this will be the first meeting between the receivers and creditors.
