MONSTER MIXED GRILL: Is this Queensland's biggest feed?

IF YOU'RE trying to bulk up, Rockhampton's Lionleigh Steakhouse has just the meal for you.

The Rockhampton pub has added a monster mixed grill to their menu, in what could be Rocky's biggest feed ever.

Featuring a generous serving of rump steak, bacon, lamb chops, pork sausages, bacon, egg, fried mushrooms, onion, grilled tomato, grilled egg, chips, coleslaw and sauce all for under $40, it's certainly a mouthful.

Rockhampton has seen quite a few 'monster feeds' on local menus over the years.

Back in 2014, Rocky's Caltex Truckstop on Yaamba Road added the Big Brekky to their menu featuring 10 eggs, four hash browns, one kabana, four sausages, one tin of baked beans, one tin of spaghetti, one serve of chips, six bacon rashers, one tomato and six slices of toast. All for $39.95.

Another big feed is the Great Western Hotel's steak eating competition, which features a 2kg steak which looks more like a family roast, gravy, bread rolls, coleslaw and mashed potato.
