Roma experienced a bit more rain with 1.2mm coming down as of 4.30pm.

And while it was only a drizzle over the weekend, storms are expected across much of the southwest over the course of this week.

The BOM has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for parts of the far southwest, including Quilpie, Windorah and Thargomindah.

  • Beware of fallen trees and powerlines.
  • For emergency assistance contact the SES on 132 500.
