Motorcyclist killed after colliding with car

A MOTORCYCLIST has died after colliding with a car in the Brisbane suburb of Alexandra Hills.

Initial information from police suggests the motorcycle was travelling along Finnucanne Road when it collided with a car travelling on Windermere Road shortly before 6.40pm on Saturday night.

The motorcyclist, a 26-year-old Capalaba man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The woman driving the car was treated for shock and was taken to hospital for observation.

The Forensic Crash Unit are appealing to anyone that may have witnessed the crash or was travelling in the area at the time and may have dash camera footage to contact them.

Investigations are continuing.
