Motorcyclist killed on highway on-ramp crash

A MOTORCYCLIST in his 20s has been killed on a highway on-ramp on Brisbane's south.

The rider is understood to have crashed at 6.30am on the Mains Rd-Klumpp Rd on-ramp on to the Pacific Mwy.

He was treated for critical injuries but is understood to have been declared dead at the scene.
 

No other vehicles were involved in the crash, according to Queensland Police.

The crash has caused commuter chaos during Brisbane's morning rush, with police warning drivers to avoid the area wherever possible.
