Mary Valley horror movie will definitely not Boar

A MURDEROUS boar will be back on the rampage in Gympie in the next few days after funding for an upcoming film was secured.

Director Chris Sun was relieved his horror movie Boar could recommence production.

"Filming is going ahead on Wednesday or Thursday. I'm just trying to confirm which," he said.

"I've got everyone's shooting dates. I've just got to work out what day we're back on set.

"But filming will definitely finish within the next week or two."

Mr Sun said he had been awake all of Saturday night trying to organise investors for his movie which was forced to stop after funding fell short.

"I haven't stopped," he said.

"I've just been making sure everything's good and making sure everything's sorted out."

His efforts had been successful.

"We've been green lit to go again by the looks of it all," he said.

"We've got people that are financing to finish it off and make it all happen."

Boar is the second film from Mr Sun to be shot in the Mary Valley and is expected to be released in July.
