One dead after cars hit pedestrian at Morayfield

A MAN has died after being hit by two cars north of Brisbane on Friday evening.

The 22-year-old was crossing Buchanan Rd, Morayfield when he was struck by one vehicle before another travelling behind the first also struck him about 5.40pm.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

No one else was injured as a result of the crash, but a number of people were taken to hospital to be treated for shock.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
