Passenger killed in fatal car crash at Forest Hill

A WOMAN has died in a two vehicle crash which occurred in Forest Hill this afternoon.

Preliminary information provided by police suggests that at about 12.15am, a car was travelling east along Old Laidley Forest Hill Road when it collided with another car travelling in the opposite direction near Forest Hill Fernvale Road.

A 40-year-old female passenger in the car, died at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to Ipswich Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver and three passengers from the westbound vehicle were all airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the fatality.
